Florida Insurance Home Inspection

Insurance Inspections

Thanks to the area’s harsh weather conditions and number of old homes, Florida homes are at higher risk for wind damage than homes in other states. This high risk leads to higher insurance prices. Fortunately, most home buyers and owners can receive insurance breaks for having their homes inspected for insurance purposes and making necessary changes. When customers schedule a 4 Point Inspection and a Wind Mitigation Inspection at the same time, we offer the second service for 50% off!

Wind Mitigation Home Inspection

Wind Mitigation Inspection

In Florida, it’s common for homes to come face to face with harsh weather and winds. During a Wind Mitigation Inspection, we will inspect the home for wind mitigation features that meet Florida standards, and offer buyers or owners advice on what measures they can take to protect their homes from wind damage in the future. By making these changes, you may be eligible for breaks in your insurance costs.

4 Point Inspection

4 Point Home Inspection

When you request home insurance, the insurance provider is taking on a certain level of risk by covering the home, especially an older home. A 4 Point Inspection helps insurance providers understand the condition of the property and what existing or likely damages should affect the policy they draw up. The home’s 4 most significant areas will be inspected: roof, electrical system, plumbing system, and HVAC system.

Other Inspections Offered

Sellers Home Inspection

Seller’s Inspection

Just like home buyers, sellers can benefit by having their property inspected. Seller’s Inspections are completed before a home is listed and are designed to help sellers find the issues in the home that should be addressed before listing. Making repairs before potential buyers see the property can increase the seller’s negotiating power.

11 Month Warranty Inspection

11th Month Inspection

When a newly built home is sold, it typically comes with a one-year warranty which covers defects in construction. Owners who have the home inspected for these defects during the 11th month allow themselves time in the final month of the warranty to request repairs.

Re Inspection

Re-Inspection

Based on an initial Buyer’s Inspection and the requests in the buyer’s CRL™ (Create Request List), the buyer and seller of a home will agree on what repairs should be made before closing. To help both parties move forward with finalizing things, we offer Re-Inspections. We revisit the home and inspect it once again, this time making sure that all agreed-upon repairs are complete.
